The Dr. Peter B. Dent Memorial Lecture was established by the Department of Pediatrics and the colleagues, friends and family of the late Dr. Peter B. Dent.

Dr. Dent was an exceptional pediatrician who founded and was the driving force behind the creation of McMaster Children’s Hospital and the adjacent Ronald McDonald House.

In his memory, this annual lecture addresses new and emerging research leading to improved pediatric healthcare in our community and beyond.

Following the lecture, in-person guests are invited to stay for a reception in McMaster’s Farncombe Atrium for refreshments.
